    This is the first edition of this important text, which, predating Du Tillet's treatises, constitutes the first precise description of the functions of the various royal officers, both at court and within the royal jurisdictions and at the territorial level. Given its significance, the BNF (National Library of France) offers a digitized version (of a later edition) on its Gallica website. It went through numerous editions up until the 17th century.
