    A collection of the pleadings of this Advocate General at the Parliament of Paris; also a member of the King's Council of State, he was considered one of the most important magistrates of the time. Among the pleadings (followed by the judgments), the following should be highlighted: on the prohibition of the Blue Penitents, on a particularly distressing family matter involving incest, on the "ordeal at the bar" in accusations of witchcraft, and on the waiver of appeals in criminal matters. We present here one of the latest editions. (Dupin, ref. 1337).
