    The author (1623-1699) devoted all his works to family law. They enjoyed considerable success when published as separate treatises, to the point that, when the trend in publishing was to collect the works of great jurists (Loyseau, Ricard, Henrys), it seemed natural to bring these together as well. We present here the last edition, which Dupin (ref. 1454) described as “rare and superior.”
