    This commentary on the civil ordinance of 1667 does not have the same purpose as those produced at the same time by Jousse or Bornier. Its primary objective is to examine how the practices of the Parliament of Toulouse could be reconciled with the obligations of the ordinance. Dupin (ref. 1136) cites 1770 as the date for the first edition; the copy presented here is dated 1769, and we also know of an earlier edition published in Toulouse by A. Birosse in 1761.
