    An extremely rare—and unfortunately incomplete—collection of one of the oldest scholarly publications on French law. It is virtually impossible to find in French research libraries: it is particularly incomplete at the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF) and at Cujas. Yet it contains an impressive number of leading articles by É. Laboulaye, R. Dareste, C. Ginouilhac, C. Giraud, A. Esmein, G. Boissonade, P. Gide, J. Flach, J. Tardif, G. Appert, F. Senn, P. F. Girard, E. Perrot, O. Martin, G. May, G. Lepointe, J. Gaudemet, J. Ellul, H. Levy-Brühl, P. Noailles, G. Le Bras, P. Timbal, P. Ourliac, J. Imbert, and many others, not to mention the numerous brilliant foreign authors. Rare indeed.
