    in-8, full mottled blond calf, gilt title on black paper, spine with 5 raised bands decorated with gilt fleurons and framing fillets, mottled edges, (headcaps damaged, boards and spine rubbed with scuffs, corners and edges worn with small losses, ink notes on the flyleaves), XII-388 p.
    Serre, a student of Boutaric and professor at the University of Montpellier, gave lectures between 1750 and 1760 on the major ordinances of D'Aguesseau. The archives of the Hérault department, which preserve these lectures (see V. Chêne's bibliography), do not mention any lectures on wills, but it is likely that the present text is the product of this course, especially since the method of exposition used closely resembles that employed elsewhere by the renowned author. This is not the case for Dupin. We present here the latest edition of this text.
