    (Dupin No. 914). A classic and well-known collection of annotated decrees from the Parliament of Toulouse, particularly interesting for its substantial sections devoted to seigneurial law and contract and obligation law. On a more anecdotal note, it includes a decree of March 22, 1538, from the Parliament of Toulouse prohibiting the Regent Doctors of the University from acting as legal counsel for parties. It also contains some interesting discussions on the droit de cuissage (the right of the first night) and its vigorous denunciation by the author, demonstrating that parliaments must censure extraordinary seigneurial rights contrary to public morals.
