For vol. III: half-calfskin in caramel, gilt titles and volumes on a smooth spine richly decorated with fillets, gilt rolls, central fleurons and filigree plaques, borders. marbled, printed on laid paper, (lower spine with slight tear, small losses at the corners, leaves very slightly yellowed, rare spots), interior very fresh, X-[1 ff.]-392 / [1 ff.]-396 p.
    Composite binding edition. One of the first editions of the author's Course of Civil Law, which can be found independently in the editions from 1813 to 1824, to which the notes and explanations of the Institutes were added. Very rare. The scope of Volume I corresponds to the law of Persons and the Distinction of Property, Ownership, and its Modifications.
