    large quarto, temporary binding, visible raised bands, cardboard covers and covered in parchment, (back binding missing, edges rubbed, corners with small tears and blunted, some stains on the front cover, several acidifications of the paper, foxing and some pinholes, all remaining very legible), thickness: 7 cm.
    This collection, in its temporary binding, contains revolutionary texts, primarily laws enacted by decree of the National Assembly in March and April 1791. Handwritten notes by the binder appear on the front cover, indicating the intended physical appearance of the work: under the title "Old Laws 1791 etc.", it was to be bound in full brown mottled calfskin. The famous Allarde Decree, Law of March 2-17, 1791, is included in this collection.
