It also contains the provisions of the 1920 law on "the implementation of the new law on marriage" as well as the texts of international law concerning the celebration of marriage, matrimonial proceedings, guardianship (law of July 8, 1904 amended by a law of December 14, 1973), the recognition of certain divorces or legal separations pronounced abroad (also law of December 14, 1973) and finally the provisions of the law of June 1, 1912 concerning, still from the point of view of private international law, certain questions relating to the legal effects of marriage.
