This very rare thesis (available in 7 university libraries in France – the Cujas library is missing) covers not only virtually all the fundamental concepts of gift law, but also contract law in general. The thesis is divided into three parts: it begins with a useful historical analysis based on primary sources. In the first part, the author focuses on defining the concept of gifts with conditions attached. The second part deals with the legal framework governing gifts with conditions attached.
