Certainly the best commentary on the Custom of Brittany. Son of Poullain de Belair, author of an abridged translation of d'Argentré's Commentary on the Custom of Brittany, Poullain du Parc was Pothier's rival, whom he equaled in any case as a professor. Toullier often cites the author's various works with praise (Dupin, ref. 1213-28 to 31).
