    octavo, full caramel calfskin, gilt title on smooth spine decorated with gilt tools, friezes and framing fillets, upper cover decorated with framing fillets, and gilt tool decorations representing an allegory of justice, handwritten Ex-Libris "Maître Claude Chambaz", (very slight wear), excellent condition, 579 p.
    More than a facsimile, it is in fact a complete recomposition initiated by the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, using the same typeface as the original, the "Romain du Roi" engraved by Philippe Grandjean at the request of Louis XIV. Only the page format has been slightly reduced.
