Less well-known than Froland, although dealing with the same subjects, Boullenois is often considered the successor of Bertrand d'Argentré (see the numerous references to the author in the preface). While this text is not the author's most famous (see in particular the Dissertations on Questions Arising from the Contrariety of Laws and Customs), it nevertheless constitutes a rich and intelligent analysis of inheritance law, and especially of the personal status of the donor and the recipient. Very rare. Bibliography: Dupin, ref. 1531; BNF, ref. FRBNF30142845
