    An amusing exegetical commentary on the Civil Code intended for the clergy and “Catholic jurists,” as a bishop states in an episcopal endorsement included with the work. While the author demonstrates considerable restraint (the work was primarily practical in nature), the title section's commentary on divorce nevertheless struggles to maintain strict logical consistency. The work was a great success.
