Édition :

    1846-1897
44 volumes, and 19 supplements, half green calfskin for the Repertory and brown for the Supplement, tears on some headcaps (1 torn off), rubbed covers, small damage on 3 volumes, foxing.
This is a copy of the second edition (published under the title “new edition,” actually published immediately after the previous one, with publication continuing until 1869). Volume 1 was published last and contains a new history of French law and an updated chronological table. Our copy is complete with all the supplements published in 1887 and 1897. It is one of the most monumental texts of French law. Many entries occupy more than 100 pages; the one devoted to “Obligations” even extends over a volume of 1250 pages. This copy is in good overall condition.
