2 t. in 1 vol. in-4, brown calf, spine with raised bands decorated, (boards rubbed with losses at the corners, damage with losses to the headcaps, joints split, worm work in the margin on the first leaves, some damp stains), 1 manuscript leaf on the back cover relating a disease which occurred to livestock in 1682 in Auvergne and in the Bourbonnais, 10 leaves-439-127 p.
Among Dumoulin's commentaries on customs, this important and comprehensive text stands out, in addition to its commentary on the local customs of Auvergne (customs of the County of Montpancier, the Combraille region, the town of La Chaise-Dieu, and Saint-Pourcin). It also includes a useful index of place names cited in the work. Choppin mentions this commentary in his notes on the customs of Anjou.
