The author is one of the few, if not the only, members of the Faculty to defend the “socialist vision of law” (according to the title of one of his collections published in 1926). This work consists of a collection of articles in which he elaborates on these ideas and responds to the controversy he has with Gény. His essential contribution to legal science lies in highlighting the notion of “collective law,” which encompasses individual rights. A rare and important text.
