Published by the City of Paris in 1984, this is a series of reports presented by the "Security and Crime Prevention Committees" established in each Parisian arrondissement. These committees were composed of elected officials, civil servants appointed by the Public Prosecutor, the Prefect of Police, and the Mayor of Paris, and representatives of various associations. The resulting document, spanning over 300 pages, provides a very interesting overview of the state of Parisian security at the time of publication, including extensive statistics. The work has not been published and is difficult to access.
