    in-8, brown calf binding, spine with raised bands, original binding boards blind-stamped and pasted onto the current binding, decorated red and black title, Boullé printer's mark "with unicorn" on the title page and at the end outside the text, handwritten annotation from 1659 of the Weingarten Monastery, mark of the Königliche Handbibliothek, illuminated initials, printed text in the colophon, very fresh interior, 20 f.-267 f.
    The author published this treatise on the decisions of the Parliament of Grenoble at the end of the 15th century (the earliest edition we have identified dates from 1490). It enjoyed great success in the 16th century, and subsequent editions followed. The last of these dates from 1763 and includes notes by Nicolas Chourier. Our examination of the catalogs of the main libraries we consulted reveals that editions prior to 1550 are quite rare, and ours is particularly noteworthy for being substantially expanded, notably with Rambaud's notes. It marks an important stage in the evolution of this text. Rare.
