    This collection of texts relating to the notarial profession enjoyed particular success in the 19th century because the commentaries on all the texts were written by A. Dalloz. It is especially comprehensive regarding the jurisprudence of the first half of the 19th century and concludes with an abridged treatise on the discipline of the Chambers of Notaries, based on the ordinance of January 4, 1843, and another concerning the liability of notaries.
