Apart from his contribution to the second edition of Planiol and Ripert's practical treatise on civil law, the author left no general text compiling his thoughts. These accompanying handouts therefore provide a valuable indication of his work. The first contains a systematic study of the application of the law over time, spanning nearly 200 pages, examining in particular its application within the various legal regimes of civil law (status and capacity of persons, property law, law of obligations, matrimonial property regimes, etc.). The second section of this same handout, devoted to the contracting of services, is limited to reflections on the nature of the contract, as time had passed before he could address the relevant legal framework. The second handout is a remarkable general study of civil liability. It should be noted that the author methodically examines the different liability regimes (including all the scenarios outlined in Article 1384), but always with the aim of drawing general conclusions. Overall, an important text.
