(Dupin no. 770). This commentary on the 1667 civil ordinance (that is, on civil procedure) does not have the same purpose as those produced at the same time by Jousse or other authors. Its essential aim is to study how the practices of the Parliament of Toulouse could be reconciled with the obligations of the ordinance. Dupin cites 1770 as the date for the first edition; the copy presented here is titled "New Edition" and is dated 1769. It is a fine Toulouse printing.
