    Collection of texts written or speeches delivered by the Attorney General of the Brussels Court of Appeal, Bavay, in which we will particularly highlight his biography of Van Espen, one of the greatest Belgian canonists, the monograph devoted to the Sovereign Council of Brabant, the one devoted to the criminal justice of the Duke of Alba in the middle of the 16th century; the last text bears as autograph “to Mr. Chaix d'Est-Ange, Senator,” which suggests that this work comes from the library of the famous lawyer.
